The Mounds Park Community Garden invites you to a very special gathering: our Autumn Harvest Festival. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season and enjoy a day full of fun, food, and festivities with friends and neighbors.
This event is open to everyone—whether you’re a member at the garden or just love a dang good harvest festival, we’d love to have you. The day includes a variety of autumn-themed activities, games, crafts, and friendly competitions. Plus, this year the harvest festival, which is spoOookily close to Halloween, will have a Halloween theme. Get into the spirit and wear a costume, you might just win a prize!
This is a potluck, so bring a dish to share, especially if it features garden-fresh ingredients or seasonal flavors. There will also be a dessert contest, so don’t miss your chance to showcase your best recipes! Beverages will be provided, and a portable toilet will be available.
We’d love to know if you’re coming, so RSVP on either Facebook or add the event to your calendar. If you plan to bring food or contribute in other ways, please add your name and information to this spreadsheet.
We are so excited for this event. We can’t wait to see you there!
Please bring food to donate
Yall have likely heard about this dumbass government shutdown going on. Due to the shutdown, an estimated 440,000 Minnesotans' SNAP benefits are about to go poof. That means our neighbors need food assistance more than ever. And the need for food is only going to grow.
Please bring food to donate. We'll take our donations to the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center food shelf. Seriously, this is actually important enough that I made this dumb video below:
